RESEARCH BACKGROUND
What is DSIP?
DSIP stands for delta sleep-inducing peptide. It is a nonapeptide, meaning its sequence contains nine amino-acid residues. A 1978 primary study reported the sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu and compared synthetic DSIP with related peptides in rabbit EEG experiments. Read the sequence and synthesis study on PubMed.
This historical experimental work describes the molecule; it does not test this ALTA product or its current batch. Findings from that animal model do not establish a clinical benefit for this product.
DSIP 10 mg and the 3 ml vial
The listed 10 mg identifies the product amount. The 3 ml identifies the vial size; these values describe different properties. Vial size alone does not specify a solution concentration. Use the product label and batch report when reviewing the supplied material.
How to review the DSIP COA
Match batch HA-260812-02 with your product label, then review the original DSIP laboratory report for the methods and results actually reported. A research paper about DSIP cannot substitute for batch-specific analytical documentation.
See our Laboratory Testing guidance for reviewing published reports, or contact ALTA Peptides if your label shows a different lot.
